La agrobiodiversidad, entendida como la variedad y variabilidad de plantas, animales y microorganismos utilizados para la alimentación y la agricultura, es un pilar fundamental de los sistemas agrícolas sostenibles. En Bolivia, esta diversidad tiene una importancia particular, ya que sustenta la resiliencia y sostenibilidad de las prácticas agrícolas locales. No obstante, su conservación enfrenta desafíos crecientes que exigen atención urgente.
