Abstract

Leishmaniasis is considered a "Neglected Tropical Disease." Bolivia has recorded cases in seven departments, with La Paz and Cochabamba being the most endemic. However, Riberalta presents a large number of leishmaniasis cases, making it an endemic region for this disease, which necessitates an epidemiological analysis.
