Abstract

Overweight and obesity are diseases affecting a large percentage of the global population, primarily due to excess body fat with visceral predominance. To estimate central fat percentage, various anthropometric measurements can be used, with the waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) proving to be a reliable indicator for detecting dyslipidemia, hypertension, and other cardiovascular diseases.
