DETERMINATION OF THE FORAGE POTENTIAL OF FOUR HYBRIDS OF Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench (POACEAE) THROUGH ANATOMICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Keywords:
Sorghum bicolor, forage digestibility, lignocellulosic compositionAbstract
Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) is one of the cereals that, due to its agronomic and nutritional characteristics, could provide great benefits in both human and animal feed worldwide. However, it is still less used than corn for cattle consumption because of its lower digestibility due to its high concentration of lignin, which affects animal production.
