Abstract

In Bolivia, 80% of the business sector consists of microenterprises facing significant growth challenges, including limited knowledge about business strategies such as strategic alliances. In Santa Cruz de la Sierra, where 59% of the population works in the informal sector, partnerships with formal businesses could be key to accessing resources and networks that facilitate the formalization and expansion of ventures, including dessert businesses.
