Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the risk factors associated with the prevalence of dyslipidemias in patients older than 20 years. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional or observational study was carried out on 195 patients who visited the San Miguel Health Center, in the months of December 2018 to February 2019. An interview was used to collect data. Laboratory analysis with the notebook register as an instrument. Regarding the results, it was possible to show that of the total of patients examined, 56% have dyslipidemias. Regarding the type of dyslipidemias, 45% have mixed dyslipidemia, 39% hypertriglyceridemia and 17% with hypercholesterolemia.
