Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of sexually transmitted infections in pregnant women who attended the virgen de remedios hospital in the municipality of sopachuy, 2017. This is a quantitative, descriptive, transverasal and retrospective study, where an analysis of the the laboratory's record bookkeepers, where a sample of 64 pregnant patients were collected, carried out the labor analyzes during the 2017 management. The data collection took place in the months of march and april of 2018. Among the results is the frequency of sexually transmitted infections in pregnant patients is 39.06%, being the most prevalent candidiasis (65.3%) and syphilis (26.9%).
