Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of cases of cutaneous Leishmaniasis in patients who attend the Regional Center for Tropical Diseases of the Municipality of Tarija-Bermejo. It is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, analytical and retrospective study. The data for the years 2015 - 2018 was collected in the months of January to August 2018. The results show that in that period of years 226 cases of leismaniasis were presented in the Center. The most affected age were patients from 46 to 85 years (59%) and male sex (74%).
