REUSE OF PLASTIC BAGS IN THE PRODUCTION OF WAXES IN THE CITY OF SUCRE

Abstract

The increasing problem of inadequate urban solid waste management (USW) in Sucre has prompted research into the reuse of plastic bags in the production of liquid floor wax. This study proposes a waste management model based on eight phases, integrating the collection, selection, and valorization of plastic bags to create a useful product, aiming to reduce pollution and improve the urban environment.
