Abstract

In Bolivia, a large portion of the population uses medicinal plants to treat or prevent diseases, making it crucial to understand their specific effects. This study evaluates the in vitro immunomodulatory effect of hydroalcoholic extracts of Erytroxylum coca Lam, Equisetum giganteum L., and Croton lechleri Muell. Arg. on polymorphonuclear and mononuclear cells from healthy human volunteers.
