Abstract

The increasing production of plastic waste has generated serious environmental problems due to its slow degradation. In Sucre, Bolivia, plastic waste accumulates in landfills without receiving adequate treatment. This situation affects the environment, generating the need to look for alternatives for the management of this waste, such as the transformation of plastics into synthetic fuels.
