Abstract

The identification of metabolic syndrome is essential for timely diagnosis and avoidance of
type 2 diabetes, the objective was to determine the validity of the FINDRISC test and glycosylated hemoglobin for screening risk of diabetes mellitus in a population residing at high altitude (3600 masl) city of La Paz - Bolivia 2018.
