Resumen

Understanding the relationship between university entrepre- neurship ecosystems and faculty commitment is crucial, as it enables universities to emphasize their mission and integrate the university community. This article aims to provide an understanding of university entrepreneurship ecosystems and their relationship with faculty commitment to support entre- preneurial activity. The article applies the Consolidated Meta-Analytic Approach Theory (TEMAC) through the review of 169 documents published between 2011 and 2023, extracted from Scopus. Various bibliometric techniques were applied to examine the state of the art and explore the relations- hip between the key variables, in this case, entrepreneurship ecosystems and faculty commitment. The analysis of citations, co-citations, and bibliographic coupling revealed the most cited authors and the predominant research themes, which include innovation ecosystems, university entrepreneurship ecosystems, types of entrepreneurship, and the role of varia- bles such as organizational culture and leadership on faculty commitment. The study highlights the empirically evidenced relationship between university entrepreneurship ecosystems and faculty commitment in supporting entrepreneurial activity.
