Abstract

This contribution presents a curricular proposal aimed at enabling master’s students to construct an action research project to change or transform culture through a variety of initiatives, activities, and opportunities provided to students as they navigate classrooms and the social spaces they wish to transform. In the Educational Program (EP) of Educating Cities and Intercultural Teaching, we introduce what we call the Transformation Element (TE), which is directly linked to the urgent social problems faced by groups in vulnerable and excluded situations. The Core Problems will be related to the TEs, materialized in research objects that will interest the master’s students, and whose results will generate intervention proposals that address or resolve the elements to be transformed.
