Abstract

The high number of unwanted pregnancies among teenagers continues to be one of the most important challenges on the rights and sexual and reproductive health for our country. These unwanted pregnancies affect suicide attempts affecting the health of two lives (mother and son). These attempts suicide and poisoning in pregnancy is a challenge for health professionals on those working in the emergency service because the initial measures taken will affect the outcome of the two lives because of the unknown effects of Agent toxic and antidote therapy fetuses; well that such agents may behave differently derived from the physiological changes of pregnancy that make it more susceptible to certain medications and toxic or specific actions on the welfare of maternal fetal binomial. In this sense, the present work aims to establish concepts and solid criteria based on evidence on the action to take against these patients and avoid unnecessary behaviors or procedures affecting two lives.
