Abstract

Uterine fibroids are the most common in women of childbearing age and benign tumor is the first indication of hysterectomy in premenopausal women. Fibroids appear as hypoechoic nodules in relation to the myometrium, rounded, well defined, and more or less homogeneous, depending on their content of muscle fiber, rarely by the endocervical canal or vagina (“nascens myoma”) is externalized. For a patient with nascens fibroid, determined by abdominal hysterectomy it occurs.
