Abstract

 

University curricular designs play a fundamental role in the training of individuals capable of contributing to the human development of local communities. These designs not only define what is taught in educational institutions, but also have the potential to influence the direction and focus of public policies aimed at promoting sustainable human development. This article explores how university curricular designs can be conceived and executed as effective public policies for the human development of local communities, examining relevant examples, research and theories in the field based on an analysis device that focuseson the capabilities approach.
