Impact of non-ionizing radiation in District I of Sucre

This study evaluates non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation levels generated by mobile phone base stations in District I of Sucre and analyzes their potential relationship with neurological symptoms in the exposed population. Field measurements were conducted using a spectrum analyzer and GPS georeferencing, complemented by geostatistical interpolation through Kriging in QGIS. Structured surveys were also applied to 135 participants. Average values were -73 dBm, significantly below ICNIRP limits. No statistically significant association was found between exposure levels and reported symptoms.
