The research interest from the need to understand the psychological and social aspects of contraception in patients with mental disorders , reproductive age. Determine the psychosocial aspects of contraception in patients with mental disorders from the National Institute of Psychiatry Gregorio Pacheco, during 2012 and 2013 efforts. Observational, analytical and cross-sectional descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The information was collected from data extracted from the medical record. The study populations are 57 patients with a diagnosis of mental illness, childbearing age between 15 to 49 years. To analyze the information one standard deviation of 0.3% is established.
