VIRUELA EPIDEMIES IN SUCRE AND THE LAST EPIDEMIC

Abstract

In the last smallpox appearance in Sucre – Bolivia, is carried out a historical description about smallpox, thus it makes a good use of anatomical waxes preparations and pathological existences in respective museum of Sucre medical institute which obtained from Paris – France, where is recognized the current illnesses and existence ones in the past. The clinical identities of smallpox type are described. The files from Sucre deaths are revised, certifying that smallpox epidemics have existed in this city in the past.
