Abstract

To determine the quality of life of women from 40 to 60 years of age who attend the San Antonio de los Sauces Hospital, Monteagudo, Bolivia. Methodology: Cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical research. The universe is made up of all women from 40 to 60 years of age in the climacteric, and the sample is represented by women have attended the San Antonio de los Sauces Hospital from May to August 2015. Results: Fifty women were studied, from 40 to 60 years old, who attended the San Antonio de los Sauces de Monteagudo Hospital between May and August of 2015. 66 percent (33) of the women are between 46 and 55 years old; the socioeconomic level is low, the predominant somatic symptoms are mild to moderate, psychological symptoms are moderate, mild symptoms of urogenital dominance and the quality of life of women of climacteric age are regular.
