Abstract

The economic 'glocalization' is changing the paradigm of many companies, mainly the most internationalized, from a Corporate Social Responsibility based on charity and philanthropy (RSC 1.0) to another type where management and good business practices have a more critical role to play (RSC 2.0). This change is observed at the institutional level, above all in the European Union where there has been a step and talked about the Economy of Common Good and the Economy of Solidarity. The objective of this work is to give an overview of these aspects and how the so-called Industry 4.0 can strengthen them to create synergies that benefit the entire population.
