Abstract

Summary

Nadequate nutrition leads to students not reaching the maximum of their intellectual capacities, students of the nursing career by the vulnerability that represents the decreased food intake, due to different factors and different situations that may arise in their daily lives significantly affecting academic, physical and mental performance. In view of this situation, we have studied the factors that influence inadequate nutrition in students of the nursing career of the USFX.

The research work has a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach, because a numerical data collection is performed in the same period of time through the survey applied in the sample population, with these results it will be possible to describe the risk factors in the period of time and people chosen. The study had a sample of 134 nursing students out of a universe of 1052 students enrolled in the 2023 administration. The results obtained show that indeed one of the factors that has the greatest influence on food is the economy, considering the work and occupations, followed by social factors consisting of family and university life, and finally environmental factors related to lifestyles.
