Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the knowledge and practice of oxygen therapy administration by nursing staff at the University Social Security Hospital in Sucre, in relation to medical indications. This was a descriptive, quantitative, and non-experimental study. A questionnaire was used to obtain information on knowledge and practice of oxygen therapy administration by nursing staff. A non-probability sample was used, selecting a total of 12 nursing graduates from the Emergency Service of the University Social Security Hospital, to whom the questionnaire was administered.
