Abstract

Marx's concept of social economic formations built from the English industrial revolution, Gramsci's historical blocks resulting from the context of the Second European War and Wallerstein's state models resulting from the turbulent second half of the 20th century are three concepts. comparable, which seek to explain the situation of society and States within the global context, with the intention of proposing keys for analysis that allow us to envision possible and alternative horizons to dominant capitalism in the configuration of the current world. Even though some States have alternatively carried out and carry out so-called left-wing political processes, with names such as 21st century socialism or community socialism, among others, the capitalist world configuration does not allow the development of these alternative national projects, since the controlled capitalist world system by the central countries, and their open intention to control the planet's natural resources, with the aim of perpetuating their hegemony, mark a scenario in which alternative analyzes open a glimmer of hope towards the construction of a new political order, the which allows the construction of societies with stability and social justice.
