Abstract

This research examined the impact of local economic development on the barley production chain in the municipality of Tarabuco, using a rigorous methodology and descriptive and explanatory objectives. Analytical methods such as the hypothetico-deductive approach, detailed statistical measurement techniques, and structural equation modeling were employed, using tools such as PLS, SPSS, and Excel, based on a Likert-scale survey. The results showed that local economic development has a positive influence on the barley production chain, strengthening the regional economy and boosting agricultural activity. These findings provide an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of local economic development and suggest effective and sustainable practices and policies to improve barley production, promoting the economic development of the region.
