provistos en la investigación “Identificación de
microorganismos causantes del deterioro del
Archivo y Bibliotecas Nacionales de Bolivia
gestión 2016” realizados en los meses de
octubre y noviembre del mismo año, sin
embargo, la cámara de gas inerte no cumple las
condiciones necesarias para darle un habitad
adecuado a las bacterias y hongos, por lo tanto,
las estaciones del año no llegan a afectar el
proceso de desinfección de dicho equipo, aun
así e se tomó en cuenta la misma fecha para
evitar alteraciones si bien ya se conocía la
información de la cámara de gas inerte, donde
la inhibición de hongos fue mayor y se
encontró una sola familia de hongos, el
Penicilium spp que después de haber sido
sometido a la desinfección fue el único hongo
encontrado, esto se puede deber a la capacidad
de los hongos por adaptarse a medios donde
incluso la cantidad de sustrato para su
desarrollo no es el adecuado, o modificar el
consumo de oxígeno para subsistir más
tiempo, esto lo demostró el género Penicilium
spp luego de haberse sometido a un ambiente
exento de Oxigeno, sin embargo gran cantidad
de hongos fueron inhibidos por la acción de la
cámara de gas inerte y así se demostró
comparando con el desarrollo de la
investigación “Identificación de
microorganismos en archivos coloniales del
Archivo y Bibliotecas Nacionales de Bolivia
gestión 2016” donde se encontraron 3 géneros
de hongos diferentes y más de un 40% en los
20 archivos analizados. Por parte de las
bacterias hubo predominio en cuanto a los
hongos, donde se encontraron Bacilos subtilis
spp. Y Micrococos spp. Esto se puede deber a
que las bacterias pueden ser anaerobias y
capaces de subsistir en ambientes exentos de
Oxígeno.
De este modo se puede verificar que la cámara
de gas inerte es más eficiente en la inhibición
de hongos en relación a las bacterias, siendo el
gas nitrógeno un compuesto desinfectante
para microorganismos exigentes.
En cuanto al área de diagnóstico
microbiológico se puede conocer la cantidad
de contaminantes que contiene un archivo,
libro, revista, etc. Que se encuentre en
deterioro progresivo o este restaurado para
darle un tratamiento desinfectante en la
cámara de gas inerte, abriendo así campos de
trabajo más amplios para el Bioquímico.
Conclusiones
Se determinó la presencia de microorganismos
en los archivos coloniales después de haber
sido sometidos a la desinfección de la cámara
de gas inerte, estos microorganismos se
identificaron como bacterias y hongos, la
mayoría de los archivos coloniales (65%)
presenta crecimiento de bacterias, y el 5%
hongos y en 25% no hubo crecimiento.
